About
This program explores the distinction between Exoteric Christianity—the outer, institutional, and doctrinal form of the faith—and Esoteric Christianity—the inner, mystical, and experiential tradition. Designed for both general seekers and committed Christians, the curriculum provides a deep examination of scripture, history, and lived experience. The course takes a scholarly but accessible approach to understanding how the public forms of the church (creeds, sacraments, and community) intersect with the private discoveries of the mystics. Participants will study the biblical evidence for multiple levels of teaching and learn why both the outer and inner dimensions are essential for a full spiritual life.
