A Foundation of Sincere Religious Freedom
The Church of Sacred Sacraments operates under the robust protections provided by the Religious Freedom Restoration Act of 1993 (RFRA). This federal mandate ensures that individuals and religious organizations can engage in their sincere religious exercises without being unduly burdened by government regulations. For our community, this means the sacred use of entheogenic sacraments—such as psilocybin and DMT—is recognized as a core tenet of our spiritual identity and worship.
"Government shall not substantially burden a person's exercise of religion even if the burden results from a rule of general applicability." — 42 U.S.C. § 2000bb-1
In alignment with the Supreme Court's ruling in Gonzales v. O Centro Espírita Beneficente União do Vegetal, we maintain that sacraments used for sincere religious purposes are protected activities. Our commitment to RFRA compliance is absolute—all participant engagement is non-commercial, documented for religious sincerity, and focused exclusively on spiritual growth and healing within our sacred sanctuary in Northwest Montana.
Sincerity & Safety
Our administrative framework includes RFRA affidavits, health intake logs, and spiritual journaling to ensure every sacrament use is documented as a sincere expression of faith, separate from any recreational or non-religious context.
